As we strive to make sustainable and healthy eating the preferred choice, Electrolux has committed to annually funding the Food Foundation until 2030, with an expected total of 100 million SEK.
The Electrolux Food Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization founded and funded by Electrolux. It supports employee initiatives to inspire more sustainable food choices among consumers and professionals, and to help people in need through education and emergency relief efforts in communities around us.
This additional funding will help support the Foundation’s important work. For example, by 2030 the Food Foundation seeks to educate at least 300,000 people in sustainable eating by training children and young adults to become Food Heroes. It also aims to bring its Like a Chef culinary training program for people in need to almost every continent.
It will also support millions of people in need through global and local programs and has joined forces with the Red Cross, the world’s largest humanitarian network.
But we can’t do this alone. Thanks to Food Foundation partners Worldchefs and AIESEC we can boost the effect of the work we do. Together we can make a difference.
